Hey folks,

The Senate just got back from summer recess, and we’ve got a lot of work to do.

I’m hitting the ground running to advance the Build Back Better agenda and ensure it makes bold investments that will finally address the climate crisis. That means furthering the transition to clean energy, establishing an efficiency rebates program for household appliances to reduce carbon emissions, and powering New Mexico’s economic recovery.

Another top priority? Ending the Senate filibuster. It’s become nothing more than a Republican tool of obstruction. We can’t afford to let the GOP keep getting in the way of passing important legislation that would change lives and livelihoods.

I will stop the filibuster so we can finally pass crucial voting rights legislation like the For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. So we can move forward the Women’s Health Protection Act to protect the right to access reproductive care during this concerning time in our history. So we can finally create the green, good-paying union jobs folks are counting on.

But I’m counting on you to power this work. Every single grassroots donation, whether it’s $10, $25, or $50, helps fuel my campaign and allows me to focus on the urgent fights in the U.S. Senate.

So, can you chip in a grassroots donation of any amount to help give our fundraising a boost before our mid-month deadline tomorrow? This is our last big deadline before our end-of-quarter push, and meeting our mid-month goal will keep us on track to report strong numbers at the end of the quarter.

If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Thanks for all you do.

—Martin
