Today, we look back on a summer that was defined by the climate crisis.

Wildfires and droughts in the west. Deadly heat waves throughout the country. Unprecedented flooding in Tennessee and abroad. And Hurricane Ida, yet another "once-in-a-century" storm, devastated Louisiana and wreaked havoc on communities up and down the Eastern Seaboard.
