An organization working to empower survivors of sexual assault needs help understanding U.S. visas to ensure they're adhering to federal immigration policies. This is a remote opportunity, and lawyers barred in any state are welcome to volunteer. Lawyers with immigration experience especially needed.

URGENT: Help Afghan Refugees Apply for Visas & Humanitarian Parole ([link removed])

CAIR-Washington

Thousands of individuals seeking to flee Afghanistan need help from lawyers to file for special immigrant visas (SIV), family-sponsored visas, and/or Humanitarian Parole. Lawyers are needed immediately to help process requests, gather documentation, and file immigration applications on behalf of Afghan refugees. Traning is provided.

Though this organization is based in Washington State, this project is open to lawyers barred in any state. This is a remote project, so lawyers can volunteer from anywhere.
