Three Ways to Help

I decided to run for Attorney General of Missouri over a year ago.

Then, I was sitting in a courtroom in Jefferson City, fighting dark money corruption in Missouri. Our Attorney General was sitting in his office just a few blocks away, leaving me to do his job for him.

Today, I'm getting ready to have our 250th meeting in Missouri: 249 with first responders receiving crisis intervention training, and 250 with justice system reform advocates this evening.

We can have an Attorney General who works for us, who shows up, who isn't in the pocket of big-money. We can do this the right way, but only with you.

Here's how you can help right now:

1) Donate. We need to hire a full-time volunteer coordinator. We have well over 700 people who are ready to get their friends into this campaign. We promised we would pay our employees at least $15 per hour. Activating volunteers is the key to taking back Missouri. And if you're that person (or you can help do it part-time), please let us know!

2) Endorse the campaign. It's a fun and easy way to help us get the word out, and it gives your friends more reason to get on board!

3) Host a meeting. Any kind of meeting. A small event. A big one. A block party. A board game night. A Harry Potter movie night (I can even teach a Defense Against the Dark Money class). This is a great way for us to gain supporters, and we help you do it. Set up, take down, whatever you need.

We have done a lot this year. We have one more to get this done. It's go time.

  • We're getting ready to release our plan to reduce violence in Missouri. Stay tuned!
  • The Attorney General took dark money with ties to a corporation he was investigating for tax credit fraud. Despite saying he has a conflict of interest policy, he hasn't published one. Elad submitted a Sunshine Request for that policy. As Attorney General, Elad will enact sweeping ethics reform in the office to prevent corruption and abuse of power.
  • At the same time, Representative Peter Merideth has been fighting to get the Attorney General to do his job and enforce Missouri's Sunshine Law.
  • Elad spoke in Cape Girardeau. If you haven't seen the video, you need to.
