As Paxton Fights Mask Mandates…

• With dozens of school boards instituting mask mandates, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is filing suit. Griffin White has the details.
   
• Paxton has now filed seven lawsuits against Texas school districts that he says violated state law and Gov. Greg Abbott’s executive orders by implementing mask and vaccine mandates.

… Is Abbott Surrendering?

• Gov. Greg Abbott has suddenly gone silent on the issue of school mask mandates. While he put the issue on his agenda for the second special session, it is curiously absent from the third session that starts next week. Jacob Asmussen has the details.
