People must be registered by October 3rd to be eligible to vote in November. On the ballot this November are amendments to our Texas Constitution—voters will decide whether amendments passed by the state legislators last session will become part of our Constitution. If you have not taken a voter registrar class this year, in January or later, then you are not a certified voter registrar now. If you ARE a registrar who has taken the certification since January, PLEASE let us know at the Republican Party of Bexar County!!! Don’t assume we know just because you are a familiar face.) If you become a registrar, PLEASE let us know at the Republican Party of Bexar County. Call Bexar Republican HQ (210-824-9445) and ask the volunteer who answers to add your name to the list of voter registrars at the front desk, along with your contact info and the date you took the class. Then email our Voter Registration Coordinator, Karen Marshall, at [email protected] to let her know you are a current registrar and when you took the class, as well. **Put “Voter Registrar” as the subject. If you are interested in helping do voter registration at local churches, please email Karen Jones at [email protected] We want to provide voter registration at churches, community events, and to Republicans who have recently moved into our county, but if we don’t know who our registrars are, we cannot do this. There are no “voter registration drives” without voter registrars. To be a voter registrar is free, and promotes freedom. There are currently two options to become a Bexar County voter registrar: Option 1: Zoom training provided by Bexar Elections. Zoom training is provided every Tuesday morning at 9:00 AM. You must register in advance sing a valid email address, and the class is limited to 25 participants.
