We are deeply disappointed in the actions of the New York Young Republican Club.

** FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Monday, September 13, 2021
------------------------------------------------------------
It’s been brought to our attention that a Young Republican chapter located outside of Missouri is interfering in the 2022 Missouri Senate Republican Primary. This action is in clear violation of the Young Republican National Federation’s bylaws. A formal complaint will be filed.

The endorsement made by the New York Young Republican Club is outside of the usual policies and best practices that our organization upholds and was independent of the National and Missouri Young Republicans.

The Missouri Young Republicans and its chapters throughout the state have not and do not endorse any primary candidate. Every Republican voter should have the opportunity to select their preferred candidate without interference. We will be keeping with our long-time policy to remain impartial in the primary and ensuring a Republican victory.

The Missouri Young Republican organization is deeply rooted in the key principles of the Republican Party. As our robust organization continues to grow and expand, we pride ourselves on our grassroots efforts to recruit, train, and elect strong conservatives to local, state, and federal office. We believe it’s important for party leaders to conduct themselves with dignity in contested primaries and to remain unified in the mission to advance the cause of conservatism.
