Dear friend, 

Small businesses are the cornerstone of our local economies; they drive economic growth, create good, high-paying jobs, and reinvest in our communities. When our small businesses succeed, we all succeed.

That’s why I’m so proud to announce that last week, I led the charge to secure $25 billion in funding for small businesses to help build back better. My committee voted to advance this historic investment in our local economies. This includes funding for entrepreneurship training for veterans and the formerly incarcerated, access to capital for underserved communities, the creation of a pilot lending program for cooperatives and other employee-owned businesses, a big investment in important industries like child and elder care, clean energy, and infrastructure, and much more!

It is critical that we ensure small businesses -- by and for their communities -- are able to thrive. By supporting our local economies, we can reinvest in all our communities. 

That’s what I’m fighting for, but I need your support to make it possible. Can I count on you to chip in so I can continue to advocate for working families and small businesses?
