In 2018, this grassroots team fought hard to win this district, and together we flipped a seat that Republicans held since 2011.

Then in 2020, we proved that our campaign wasn’t just a “blue wave” fluke that squeaked by a victory. Once again, Elaine defeated former Republican Congressman Scott Taylor and continued to make us proud in Congress.

Now as we look ahead to 2022, we must be prepared for the reality that despite how far we’ve come -- VA-02 is still a battleground district and Elaine has a target on her back.

We can’t give Republicans any reason to question the strength of our movement when our FEC report becomes public at the end of the month. So please, pitch in $10 or whatever you can towards our mid-month goal.

If we’re able to show national Republicans that we have strong grassroots support on our FEC report, we can send them a powerful message: Elaine is here to stay.

The more folks who chip in before our mid-month deadline -- whether it’s $1 or $100 -- the stronger our FEC report will be.
