I’m heading back to Washington after being home in Colorado. I got to spend time with Susan and our girls, and I visited 15 counties, covering 1,850 miles.

Coloradans across the state made it clear they want to see progress on the challenges they face, whether it’s struggling to get their kids out of poverty or the harm caused by climate change. That’s why I’m ramping up my fight to make the Child Tax Credit expansion — which has already helped one million Colorado kids — permanent and why I’m advocating for a $60 billion investment in our forests and watersheds to combat climate change and create jobs. But my work makes me a target for National Republicans, folks.

Mitch McConnell and the National GOP have raised almost $60 million to flip the Senate and they see Colorado as a top target. We don’t have to outraise them, but we do have to keep pace, which is why we set a mid-month goal to make up for our summer slump in fundraising.

So, I’m respectfully asking (Not begging! That’s not my style) you to please make a donation of $10 — or whatever you can afford — to help us reach our goal before Wednesday’s mid-month deadline.
