In a moment we're going to ask you to make one final $3 contribution to help Gavin Newsom defeat the far-right recall in California. First, here's why it's important -- especially now:

Tomorrow is Election Day. Democrats currently have the edge in the number of ballots returned, but there are still a ton of ballots remaining and due to their general distrust of mail voting, Republicans are waiting until tomorrow to cast their ballots.

The strength of California's response to the Delta variant and Senator Feinstein's replacement -- should she step down -- hang in the balance until ballots are officially counted starting tomorrow.
