In just under 9 months from now, the California Democratic primary election will be taking place, putting our grassroots campaign to the test. And due to the results of the 2020 census, our district could be facing major changes.
This is because no one knows exactly how California’s districts will be redrawn. That means Ro’s district could change significantly, and we have to be ready for every scenario, including: 1) gaining new constituents who aren’t familiar with Ro, 2) adding more Republican voters who disagree with our progressive values, or 3) facing new opponents.
But our campaign needs to be ready for each and every scenario if we’re going to keep Ro in Congress to continue the fight for Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, and a $15 minimum wage. Can you chip in $3, or whatever you can afford right now, to help our campaign build out our plans for the 9 months leading up to the 2022 primary? We need to raise an additional $8,000 by midnight on Wednesday if we’re going to be on track for our end-of-quarter fundraising.

If we’ve learned anything from the grassroots campaigns of fellow progressives in Congress, it’s that grassroots organizing works.
And with our district – and its constituents – in flux, it’s more important than ever for our campaign to build out a strong organizing arm that can connect with voters across Santa Clara and Alameda Counties.
So if you can afford it, please make your first donation today to help grow our grassroots campaign, reach new voters, and continue the fight for families, workers, and communities everywhere. By helping us reach $8,000 by midnight on Wednesday, you’re helping us stay on track for our important end-of-quarter goal.
Thanks for your support,
