Team -- my likely Republican opponent, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, just released her first campaign ad.

I want to be clear: Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ ad was misleading and harmful. She used footage of Bill Clinton and The Little Rock 9 under the guise of bipartisanship -- and just seconds later ranted against the ‘radical left’ and showed herself side by side with Donald Trump.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders was the mouthpiece for one of the most divisive administrations in recent memory -- turning every campaign into a competition of “us” vs. “them". Now, she’s trying to bring that here to Arkansas.

The irony is that Bill Clinton was one of the reasons I decided to run for governor. I met him when I was young and as we talked, I noticed how much compassion he had for others.

After meeting him I realized I wanted to serve the people of Arkansas, listen to them with compassion and understanding, and do everything in my power to make their lives better.
