My team is fighting back against continued Republican efforts to undermine Americans' right to vote — particularly voters of color. The fight to protect the right to vote is not just in the history books — it’s happening right now.

The Republican legislature in Georgia is ground zero for these attacks.

I am standing with Democratic Attorneys General to preserve our democracy. Along with 21 other states and the District of Columbia, I filed an amicus brief urging the court to stop Georgia’s discriminatory voting law, SB 202.

To be blunt, this legislation is nothing more than an attempt to disenfranchise Black voters and other voters of color. That’s why we’re joining the effort to fight back in court.

As long as I’m the People’s Lawyer, I will continue to defend democracy and hold accountable all those who threaten it.
