John –
This is it. We’re down to the final days of voting. The last day to vote NO on the recall is tomorrow 9/14.
By voting NO on the recall we are choosing to continue building on our progress in California. Housing affordability, COVID relief, healthcare, climate - all of these are on the line in this election and we need your voice in these final days.
If you haven’t voted yet, we’ve put together a voter checklist for you.
1.) Am I registered to vote?
All active and registered voters received ballots in the mail. If you did not receive yours, you may vote by registering same-day at a vote center, polling place, or county elections office.
2.) Is my ballot complete? There are 2 questions on the ballot.
Question 1 asks whether or not you want to recall (remove) the governor.
🚫🚫🚫 We recommend that you vote NO on question 1. 🚫🚫🚫
Question 2 asks who you want to replace him with in the event that he is recalled.
📄📄📄 We recommend that you leave this question blank. 📄📄📄
3.) How do I cast my ballot?
Return your signed and dated ballot at a secure drop box, by mail (postmarked by 9/14), or at an in-person voting location.
If you prefer to vote in-person, find locations and hours here. In-person voting locations offer same-day voter registration, replacement ballots, accessible voting machines, and language assistance. The last day of voting is Election Day, which is Tuesday, September 14, and polls close at 8pm.
4.) How will I know when my vote is counted?
Sign up for WheresMyBallot.sos.ca.gov, which will send you a notification for when your ballot is counted.
If you’ve voted already consider making a small contribution to help power our work in 2021 and beyond! From $3, $5, $10, these small donations add up and help us reach more voters!
