The Chamber is looking for hosts for its Business after Business networking events. Business After Business is a popular event that occurs from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The purpose of Business After Business is to provide a monthly opportunity for Chamber members to meet and mingle with one another, both socially and professionally. The series is also a great promotional opportunity for the hosts.

Governor Northam has removed the employer matching requirement from the Return to Earn grant program. The Alexandria/Arlington Regional Workforce Council will now reimburse the full cost of the hiring bonus that a City of Alexandria or Arlington County employer pays, up to $500 per new hire.
New hires wages must be a minimum of $15.00 per hour. The position must be W-2 employment, but can be part- or full-time. Funds may only be provided to new employees hired by the employer, and the individual hired must be currently unemployed for at least 30 calendar days (as attested by the individual).
