Friend: I'm one of the most vulnerable Senate Democrats up for reelection next year, and I need your help. While I've spent my first months in office providing pandemic relief to struggling families, fighting for voting rights and delivering on our progressive priorities, extremist Republicans are doing everything they can to attack me and smear my record.

Here's why: Experts at POLITICO say that Democrats' chances of defending our razor-thin majority hinge on keeping Georgia blue. This race could decide Senate control – but while Donald Trump and his shady megadonors have built a warchest of $100 MILLION to try and buy the next election, we're running a people-powered campaign that relies on grassroots support. And unfortunately, with a huge quarterly FEC deadline coming up fast, we're falling dangerously short of our mid-month goal.

That's why I'm personally asking for your help, friend: Will you give $5 or more right now – as much as you can spare by midnight tonight – so we can hit our mid-month goal, win in Georgia and defend our Democratic Senate majority?

As a kid who grew up in public housing, I know what it's like to be counted out before you even get started. But through hard work and the support of my family and community, I was able to graduate from college and went on to become the senior pastor at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s church. Now, I'm proudly serving as the first Black senator in Georgia's history.

But with the Senate split 50-50, Republicans need to flip just one seat to win back control – and they've already massively outspent us on the airwaves to launch attack ads and smear my record. Now, a new poll shows me NECK and NECK with my GOP challengers.

If we fail to keep Georgia blue, Mitch McConnell could retake full control and block our Democratic agenda at every turn. That's why we've got to fight back now – and it's why falling short of goals like this isn't an option.
