John,
As you already know, The Trust for Public Land is moving forward with the most aggressive strategic plan we’ve ever pursued, and as part of that plan, we are aiming to create over 1,000 miles of trails and greenways that will connect more than three million Americans across the nation.
Will you help us reach this monumental goal by making a gift today?
In fact, The Trust for Public Land has already identified areas prime for the creation and rehabilitation of new trail systems, which will provide biking and walking paths that improve the health, safety, and overall well-being of the communities they serve.
In an ever more sedentary and disconnected nation, trails serve as an important counterweight, encouraging people to get outside, get active, and connect with nature and each other. From neighborhood trails to national trails, local economies benefit from the value that trails bring.
And to build these 1,000 miles of trails and continue forward with our many other efforts to preserve public lands and create close-to-home parks, we need your help. Please make a gift today!
Along the Appalachian Trail, America’s most famous footpath and a 2,190-mile trail that passes through 14 states, we are working to preserve numerous special places. Such as a 360-degree viewpoint along the Appalachian Trail in Maine, a link in a growing network of backcountry huts in Vermont’s Green Mountains, and a peaceful forest on the border of North Carolina and Tennessee.
These trails and the many other projects we are undertaking will help millions of people connect with nature. Please help us to continue forward with these worthy efforts
by making a tax-deductible contribution today.
Sincerely,
Kim Elliot
Director of Membership
P.S. Any support that you can give will help us move forward with building 1,000 miles of trails by 2025. Please make a gift today.
