Did you see our message about the Hyde Amendment, John?

For too long, the discriminatory Hyde Amendment has prevented low-income people from receiving the reproductive health care they need by banning abortion coverage under government-funded health plans.

Kim supports repealing the Hyde Amendment because she believes your income level shouldn't determine your ability to make the health care decisions that are best for you and your family. But she wants to know if you're with her in the fight for reproductive rights.

Add your name right away to stand with Kim and call on Congress to repeal the Hyde Amendment.

Kim Schrier

Team,

Republicans across the country are working overtime to prevent people from accessing the reproductive health care they need. Just last week, Texas' extreme six-week abortion ban went into effect after the Supreme Court refused to block it. It's only a matter of time before we see similar extreme anti-choice laws introduced in states across the country.

We need to take action to protect reproductive rights before it's too late -- and one thing Congress can do right now is repeal the Hyde Amendment.

The Hyde Amendment is discriminatory language which bans abortion coverage under government-funded health plans. This amendment has been included in every spending bill passed by Congress in recent history and has affected people across the country's ability to make their own reproductive health care decisions.

Earlier this year, Kim helped pass the first spending bill in 45 years that didn't include the Hyde Amendment. But after passing the House, every Republican in the Senate voted to restore it.

We need to end discrimination in women's reproductive health care decisions and that starts with repealing the Hyde Amendment. Add your name if you agree >>

Every person deserves the right to make their own reproductive health care decisions, but for more than four decades, the Hyde Amendment has affected this right -- particularly for BIPOC and low-income people.

As the only Democratic female doctor in Congress, Kim will always fight to ensure that every person has access to the reproductive health care they need. That's why she's taking a stand and demanding the repeal of the Hyde Amendment.

Are you with her? Add your name to stand with Kim and demand Congress repeal the Hyde Amendment now.

Thanks,

Team Schrier
