John -- Every Republican senator voted to block the For the People Act when it was brought forward for debate, but Lindsey Graham, Rand Paul, and Ted Cruz have been some of the most fervent critics of the bill.

Here’s a snapshot of what Lindsey Graham, Rand Paul, and Ted Cruz have been falsely saying about the For the People Act:

Lindsey Graham: “H.R. 1 is an attempt by the radical left to take over every election system in the country… It would be in violation of the Constitution, in my view.”

Rand Paul: “[The For the People Act] will be something that would lead to a great deal of less confidence. It’ll lead to a great deal of potential fraud if we do it that way. So, I’m going to do everything I can to stop it.”

Ted Cruz: “‘It’s the single most dangerous piece of legislation before Congress. What I call H.R.1 is the ‘Corrupt Politicians Act’...It is a radical bill.”

It’s obvious that their calls to manipulate the maps aren’t anomalies -- they demonstrate a disturbing level of comfort with removing power from the hands of voters and placing it in the palms of politicians.

Will you make a one-time donation of $30 right now? That's just $10 in honor of each of these three Senators standing in the way of fair maps and fair elections.

The myth of widespread voter fraud allows extreme partisan representatives in gerrymandered states to use that lie to justify voter restrictions and perpetuate weakened accountability.

Lindsey Graham, Rand Paul, and Ted Cruz know that. Yet, they and their Republican colleagues continue to use these lies as an excuse for opposing this bill because they’re worried about what would happen if everyone had equal access to the ballot box in fair districts.

Can we count on you to make a donation of any amount right now? We need your help to combat disinformation from bad actors like Lindsey Graham, Rand Paul, and Ted Cruz, who seek to undermine our democracy.
