John,
The signs are promising that Gavin Newsom can defeat this far-right recall. Democrats have returned more than half of the 6.6 million ballots, but in-person Republican turnout could still surge on Election Day this Tuesday.
Republicans, who generally distrust mail voting, may wait to show up in force in-person against Newsom -- tipping the scales toward Larry Elder.
If Elder is elected governor, he's already pledged to end California's COVID-19 pandemic precautions, which means no masks, no vaccine incentives, no support for working families to get back on their feet.
It gets worse: If Senator Dianne Feinstein retires or is unable to finish her term, Larry Elder has also pledged to replace her with a Republican which would end Democrats' majority in the Senate. Under no circumstances can we let that happen.
The stakes in this recall are just too high. We can't get comfortable now. We're still $15,617 short of our $50,000 goal to crush the recall effort. Will you chip in a split $3 to Gavin Newsom today to stop Larry Elder from getting anywhere near the governorship?

This is a grim scenario, but it's more possible than we may like to think.
That's why the more grassroots support we raise, the more Democrats get fired up to vote, and the more ballots they return.
It's as simple as that.
Split $3 before 11:59 pm tonight >>
Thanks in advance,
