Texas Governor Greg Abbott just signed into law one of the most restrictive voter suppression bills in the nation -- it bans 24-hour and drive-thru voting, makes it more difficult to vote by mail, and gives undue power to partisan poll watchers.

This law was designed to make it harder for people to vote -- especially people of color. Republicans know that when more people have access to the voting booth, they lose.

Texas Democrats did all they could to block this bill -- going so far as fleeing the state to deny Republican legislators the quorum they needed to hold a vote. But now they need our help.
