John,
This is Kim Rogers, Executive Director of DASS, and I want to talk to you about what’s at stake in 2022.
In 2020, Democratic Secretaries of State were able to administer one of the safest and most secure elections ever in the midst of a pandemic and despite disinformation being spread from the right, all the way up to the White House. Across the country, these Secretaries made it easier to vote by mail, to vote early, and to register to vote.
But now across the country, far-right extremists are running to defeat our Democratic Secretaries of State, and they need your support to fight back. Will you rush $27 to help us hit our critical $75,000 mid-month goal and protect our democracy? [[link removed]]

On January 6th, we saw an unprecedented attack on our democracy. Since then, the GOP has continued to peddle lies and undermine democracy at every opportunity. It’s as if they're willing to tear down the whole system in order to win!
Our country relies on election officials, from poll workers up to Secretaries of State, to keep the mechanisms of democracy in motion. Yet, Republicans like Arizona Secretary of State candidate Mark Finchem were in the crowd attacking our democracy on January 6th while Secretary of State candidate Congressman Jody Hice was inside the Capitol voting to overturn the will of Georgia voters. We can’t let these insurrectionists control any state’s elections, let alone these crucial swing states.
Just $27 will help us get ready for the fight of our lives as our offices continue to come under fire from the GOP. And any more you can give will go toward opposing far-right dark money and protecting the democracy we all hold dear.
Our mid-month deadline is coming up on Wednesday night. We need to hit our $75,000 goal to stay in this fight - and there’s a long way to go. John: Join DASS and chip in $27 or more to protect our democracy! >>> [[link removed]]
