Dear MoveOn member,
Senators are about to arrive back in Washington, D.C., for three days next week—and we need to make sure that when they arrive and depart from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, we deliver them a message to side with their constituents, not their ultra-wealthy and corporate donors, on jobs, climate change, democracy, and more.
That's why MoveOn members are preparing to approach GOP senators in person as they arrive and depart D.C., aiming to get them on the record explaining why they're blocking relief for working families in order to protect tax loopholes for the richest 1%.
Would you be free to ask senators in person as they are arriving and leaving D.C next week? It's called "bird-dogging" to approach a public official in a public setting and ask them questions live on camera so they know they are being watched and they feel the pressure. We'll train you how to do it safely, legally, and effectively. All we need are 10-20 MoveOn members with flexible schedules ready to take action in Washington, D.C., on Monday and Wednesday.
Together, we can give these senators a critical message—and then, for the rest of recess, we'll keep up the pressure by presenting constituent demands while they're home, so they know we need them to side with their voters, not the ultra-wealthy and corporate donors.
Thanks for all you do.

We have an opportunity to make progress, but only if we give it our all to call for bold progressive legislation to expand health care, solve the climate crisis, address systemic racism, and more. Will you chip in now to power our work?
No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.
