John – It is crucial that we defend and expand our Democratic Senate majority in 2022. The future of our democracy depends on it. 

That's why I'm running to flip Florida blue. But we have to defend Catherine's must-win seat to keep the Senate majority. Let me explain:

Mitch McConnell only needs one seat to flip the Senate – and CNN is calling Nevada a top pickup opportunity. And now, McConnell's handpicked extremist is running against Catherine with Donald Trump's total endorsement, just as she's being outspent by GOP that have already spent over $1 million in attack ads.

Catherine has a tough race in Nevada, and Democrats need her to win in order to expand our Senate majority. So I'm personally asking you to split a $5 donation between her campaign and mine right now to defend and expand our Senate majority.

Catherine's chances of winning in Nevada have already been downgraded by the Cook Political Report – and I'm worried, John. She won in 2016 by 2 points, but Democrats' chances in Nevada aren't getting any easier – President Biden won Nevada by the same margin in 2020. 

Catherine and I are committed to fighting for the progress American families need, from strengthening voting rights to protecting affordable health care. We've both spent our careers breaking down barriers, and we're committed to making sure every American is equally empowered to succeed.

But we are at an inflection point for our democracy, and Catherine's opponent continues to promote Trump's lies about election fraud. If we let GOP extremists flip Nevada and the Senate next year, if we give Mitch McConnell and Trump another yes-man in the Senate – our democracy may never recover.

Together, Catherine and I can help our country build back better. But we cannot win in Nevada and Florida alone – and right now, we're falling short of our $35,000 midnight goal. Keeping the Senate blue and expanding our majority hinges on what grassroots supporters like you do right now, John.
