The National Journal confirmed it: Iowa is a "much bigger battleground" than initially anticipated.
This is big news for our campaign and comes after an eventful few weeks in which:
- We outraised Joni Ernst despite not taking any money from corporate PACs;
- Ernst's net approval plummeted 9 points, the "biggest slide" of any senator;
- Inside Elections moved this race in our favor;
- And a new poll showed us within striking distance of Ernst.
Mitch McConnell's allies have already promised to dump millions into Iowa to protect this seat and their majority in the Senate. We know they're willing to do -- and spend -- whatever it takes to keep their rubber stamp in the Senate. That's why we need to fight back against the onslaught of Republican special interest attacks.
