News and Updates
The Wisconsin Supreme Court granted WILL’s original action asking the Court to review Governor Evers’ use of partial vetoes. WILL filed the original action on July 31 after Governor Tony Evers improperly and unlawfully used his partial veto powers on various provisions of the Wisconsin State Budget.
WILL filed a complaint, on behalf of three voters, with the Wisconsin Election Commission (WEC) because the state agency is failing to follow state law on critical procedures that maintain accurate voter rolls.

Research Director Will Flanders takes on the latest story from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that frames Wisconsin school choice programs as costly. He writes, "Let’s stop demonizing low-income families for seeking out better options for their child’s education."

Deputy Counsel Lucas Vebber testified in favor of the amendment, arguing it makes clear “that when the people of Wisconsin, acting through the Legislature, set a cap on spending – the governor must abide by it.”
