Friend, On the evening of September 19, 2010, I was moving across the battlefield in Kandahar, Afghanistan. As a bomb tech, it was my job to clear the way for the rest of our team by finding and disposing of explosives. I found that last bomb by stepping on it and was carried off the battlefield by my fellow soldiers. I lost two legs that night, and I’m only alive today because my fellow soldiers acted quickly when faced with a crisis. Today, our country is faced by another crisis, and we need to act quickly to stop the bleeding. Joe Biden has betrayed the service of Afghanistan veterans and sentenced thousands of Afghans who were our friends and allies to death. He has not learned the most important commitment of our soldiers: we do not leave men or women behind.
