9/11 Anniversary
Today, we recognize the 20th Anniversary of the horrific terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001. That fateful day, we lost the lives of thousands of Americans and we must never forget. From the people on each of the planes, to those working at the World Trade Center and Pentagon, to those brave first responders who rushed into the rubble, their sacrifices must never be forgotten. Please join me in reflecting today on the strength and resilience of our nation and the American spirit that carried us through that horrific day and still does today. Say a prayer for the families who lost loved ones and for the continued strength of our great nation.
This morning, I attended a 9/11 remembrance event at Surprise City Hall with Mayor Skip Hall, other local leaders, and brave first responders from our community. We honored the fallen of September 11, 2001, and prayed for our nation.
