Friend,

Today, we reflect upon two decades since the deadliest terror attack on U.S. soil. We memorialize the victims of September 11, 2001, and commemorate the extraordinary bravery of ordinary citizens and first responders who went above and beyond to save others.

To all in my district who lost someone on that day or were affected in the aftermath, my heart goes out to you. I will continue to advocate for policies and plans that properly aid and honor victims and survivors -- including the ongoing application of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund, which pays out claims for deaths, illnesses, and other lasting impacts of the attack.

I think back a lot to the unity of purpose Americans felt twenty years ago to help one another and love one another. Today, as we again face monumental challenges, it is my hope that we can call upon this same spirit to lift ourselves up and stand by the values that make our country strong.

Sincerely,

Jennifer
