John,
I still remember how I felt the day we were attacked. There was a sense of not being prepared that was unnerving. I never want us to be that unprepared again. Twenty years have gone by since the 9/11 terrorist attacks. I've taken time leading up to this day to reflect. I hope you'll take some time to reflect with me. 
In the last 20 years, we've protected the American homeland from a terrorist attack coming from Afghanistan because we were there working with the Afghans who reject extremism. I am going to take this day of remembrance and channel it into something positive. We're going to honor the dead and remember their families and rally our nation to make sure this never happens again. United We Stand,
