John,

Today marks 20 years since the 9/11 terrorist attacks. September 11, 2001 will forever be enshrined in our collective memory as a dark day in our history.

Visions of the smoke and ash, people fleeing, and our heroic first responders rushing in should never be forgotten, nor should the lives lost on that fateful day.

As we mourn, we cannot forget the many American soldiers and allies lost over the longest war in U.S. history. We must continue to honor them every day.

We have a lot of rebuilding still to do as we enter this new post-war chapter and support our friends, allies, service members, and refugees. September 11 and the events that followed it changed the course of history. Today and every day, we must come together and never forget.

Be well,

Ami
