Folks --
Our world changed on September 11, 2001. Today, I’m remembering the 2,996 Americans that died on that day 20 years ago.
They were mothers, fathers, friends, family, neighbors, spouses, and so much more to so many people. To the 196 Nevadans who were first responders or survivors of the attacks, I join every American in sending my comfort and warmth.
While 20 years may have passed since that horrific day, we’ve made a collective promise to never forget the souls we lost.
So, folks, take this as an invitation to hold your loved ones close and be grateful for the gift of life as we’re reminded today that neither is promised to us tomorrow.
Wishing you a peaceful and observant day of remembrance.
Warmly,
Susie Lee
