For the First Responders who risked their lives to rush to the scene and run directly into crashing buildings, their bravery must also not be forgotten. Their service before self mentality saved lives that day.
And for those who were called to fight against the radical groups that committed these atrocities, your service and sacrifice were not in vain. We owe each and every one of you a debt of gratitude that will never be able to be fully repaid.
