Friend,
Exactly 20 years ago today, at 8:46 a.m., the unthinkable happened.
2,977 lives were lost. An unimaginable number of lives would later be shattered.
I hope you'll join me in taking a few moments this morning to remember those who are no longer with us as a result of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
My hope is also that no matter the political divide, today will be a day where we look at each other as fellow Americans, as citizens living in the greatest nation the world has ever known, and remember who we are and what makes America great.
On this day, Sept. 11, 2021, let's honor the Americans we lost exactly 20 years ago, and make sure that we never, ever, forget.
