Dear John,

On this day twenty years ago, America experienced a tragedy that we must never forget.

Today, we hold moments of reflection for families who lost loved ones, first responders who exemplified bravery and sacrifice, and the countless lives changed forever by terrorism and war.

I know that this anniversary hits close to home for many members of our community. To all who are struggling on this day, I am thinking of you and sending my prayers. I also pray for the spirit of our nation – for tolerance, unity, and strength.
