Team,

We have to take every step we can to protect our democracy, and that means we have to protect our elections and get dark money out of politics.

House Democrats fought to pass the For the People Act (H.R. 1), which would do exactly that.

So why won't GOP Senators bring it to a vote?

We cannot accept inaction. We need them to bring the For the People Act (H.R. 1) to a vote — stand with Chrissy and add your name if you agree! [[link removed]]

Thank you,

Team,

One of the very first bills that my colleagues and I fought for is one that strengthens ethics rules for members of Congress, reduces the influence of big donors, makes voting easier and more accessible, and protects our elections.

The For the People Act (H.R. 1) would do all of those things (and more!) so it's important that GOP Senators bring it to a vote right away.

We have to do everything in our power to protect our elections and make sure that everyone eligible to vote, can vote — add your name to mine if you agree! [[link removed]]

Elections are a precious and crucial aspect of our democracy, and we have to treat them as such.

With the For the People Act and my amendment that works to expand early voting in every state, we are taking a big step that will return us to a government of, by, and for the people. That's why I supported the For the People Act in the House, and why we need Senators to support it now.

Americans deserve protected and fair elections. Sign your name and stand with me if you agree >> [[link removed]]

Thank you — we've got work to do!
