Here are three numbers you need to know about your drinking water:

1. 20 years since the EPA has regulated a new contaminant under drinking water protections, despite growing evidence that unregulated contaminants in our drinking water are unsafe.

2. 200 million Americans who may have unsafe levels of cancer-linked PFAS in their drinking water.

3. 7 days left to urge the EPA to regulate dozens of hazardous contaminants before the September 17 deadline.

We should be able to trust that the water coming out of our tap is clean and safe, but for far too many Americans, this is simply not the case. Industry and Big Ag have been able to recklessly pollute drinking water sources for far too long. It’s time for the EPA to do its job and clean up our water!
