Together, we need to show up for our neighbors no matter how hard or scary it gets.
John, Republicans are attacking our right to an abortion. States across the country are attempting to follow in the footsteps of Texas and pass their own abortion bans.
I was honored to join Cori at a pro-choice rally for reproductive rights in St. Louis yesterday because abortion is health care and health care is a human right. Period.
In Congress, Cori is proudly leading to abolish the filibuster so we can pass legislation to block restrictive state abortion care laws, keep people housed, ensure everyone has health care, and more. Can you chip in $5, or whatever is meaningful to you, to support Cori's work?

During the rally, Cori spoke about why it's so important we show up in opposition to the current attacks on reproductive rights. Everyone knows someone who has had an abortion, but these bills disproportionately harm Black, brown, and LGBTQIA+ folks.
In Missouri, a Republican member of the state legislature has already announced plans to introduce a restrictive anti-abortion bill modeled after the Texas law. And the eight-week abortion ban signed by Missouri Governor Mike Parson last year is only one step away from the Supreme Court.
We cannot rely on the far-right Supreme Court to protect us. We need to take action ourselves — together, we need to show up for our neighbors no matter how hard or scary it gets.
Cori knows from the streets of Ferguson that change isn't just going to happen with the power of the pen but the power of the people. Our movements and our elected officials need to be working hand in hand.
Please, if you support Cori's work to ensure everyone has a right to an abortion, health care, housing, food, a livable wage, and a healthy environment, pitch in $5 or more to power Cori's organizing and legislating efforts.
