FOX NEWS: GOP House candidates who came close to winning in 2020 running again in 2022  “The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), the reelection arm of the House GOP, touts that in 80% of the top Democratic held seats it is targeting in next year’s midterms, "we have either a top-tier candidate filed, or a primary with multiple good candidates." And it also showcases that it has 172 Republican women who’ve filed for Congress, more than double the 85 females who had filed at this point in the 2020 cycle.”  Read the full article here.
4th Far-Left Candidate Announces Campaign Against Elise Stefanik  Just when we thought the embarrassing and crowded Democratic primary in NY-21 couldn’t get worse, a 4th Far-Left Democrat announced their campaign against Elise. The worst part — their campaign is centered around a disgraceful comparison of January 6th to 9/11:  “He also compared the 9/11 terrorist attacks to the Capitol riot — an assertion Stefanik's senior adviser, Alex DeGrasse, described as "disgraceful." DeGrasse said candidates making the comparisons are out of touch with the needs of the residents in the district.  “Candidates that compare January 6 to the terrorist attacks on 9/11 that killed thousands of Americans are fundamentally not serious and deeply out of touch with North Country values," DeGrasse said in a statement. "There is plenty of time for politics in the months ahead for the grueling and crowded Democrat primary in New York’s 21st District, the week of the 20th anniversary of 9/11 is not that time.””  Read the full story in the Washington Examiner here.  Our team looks forward to watching this crowded Democrat primary continue to unfold, and to NY-21 voters reelecting Elise to Congress once again in a landslide. GOP Women Speak Out Against “Rushed and Incomplete Vetting” of Afghan Evacuees  “Forty-one congressional Republicans have sent a letter to President Biden raising flags about the State Department's "rushed and incomplete vetting of Afghan evacuees" who were brought to the U.S. from Afghanistan following the Taliban's takeover.”  Among those who signed the letter were GOP women Yvette Herrell, Kat Cammack, Diana Harshbarger, Debbie Lesko, Elise Stefanik, and Mary Miller.  Read the full story via Fox News here.
NRCC: Three reasons Dem poll #’s are tanking  “President Biden and House Democrats ran on beating COVID-19, but U.S. hospitalizations have more than doubled since last Labor Day.  Joe Biden and House Democrats ran on improving our economy and creating millions of jobs, but they just delivered another anemic jobs report and inflation remains sky-high.   Biden and House Democrats ran on restoring American leadership abroad, but the Middle East is in chaos and Americans are stranded behind enemy lines in Afghanistan.   With results like this, is it any wonder that Joe Biden’s poll numbers are tanking and even Democrat pollsters have Republicans leading on the generic ballot?”  Read the NRCC’s release here.
