Last weekend, Ayanna and her sisters-in-service — Representatives Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Cori Bush — stood in solidarity with Indigenous Water Protectors, who’ve been fighting the construction of the Line 3 pipeline in Minnesota for years.
Last weekend, Ayanna and her sisters-in-service — Representatives Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Cori Bush — stood in solidarity with Indigenous Water Protectors fighting to stop the construction of the Line 3 pipeline.
Line 3 will have disastrous effects on our climate, undermine Indigenous treaties and sovereignty, threaten the health and livelihoods of millions of people, and further exacerbate environmental injustice in low-income and BIPOC communities.
To make matters even worse, Line 3 is being built by Enbridge, the corporation responsible for the largest inland oil spill in U.S. history.
We must put people and our planet over corporate profits — that’s why we’re using the full power of our movement to urge President Biden to halt the construction of Line 3 immediately.
