Catherine won Nevada's Senate seat by just two points in 2016, and winning in Nevada hasn't gotten any easier: Biden barely won by that same margin in 2020.
Senate control hinges on Catherine defending Nevada's critical seat – and her race simply isn't getting the attention it deserves. But now, a Mitch McConnell-backed, Trump-endorsed extremist is running against her. And Trump is all in because Catherine's opponent supported his Big Lie about election fraud.
McConnell and the GOP have made Catherine a top target, Trump is riling up his base – and the Republican money being poured into Nevada could flip this seat.
GOP outside groups have already spent more than $1 million to defeat Catherine – and CNN is calling this seat a top pickup opportunity just as The Cook Political Report has downgraded Catherine's chances of defending it. Only one seat will determine our fragile 50-50 Senate majority – it could even be my race in Colorado – but things could look rough in Nevada if we let Catherine continue to be outspent by the GOP and its allies.
We cannot afford to lose the Senate majority. That's why I'm personally asking you to split a donation between my campaign and Catherine's. I promised her that I'd help hit a $40,000 grassroots fundraising goal by midnight so we can have the resources to fight back and protect these critical seats.
