I joined Raymond Arroyo yesterday to speak about Texas' latest pro-life victory, the Heartbeat Bill, and Biden's attempt to defeat it. You can watch my interview here.

Last week, the state of Texas made history by becoming the first state to outlaw abortions once a heartbeat is detected. What a huge victory for life and little Texans! Now, Biden's Department of Justice is suing our state for protecting these innocent lives.

This lawsuit is another attempt from the Left to federalize the way we run things here in Texas. We've seen this before. Just within the last two months, Texas House Democrats fled to D.C. and tried to get the federal government to take over our state's elections. Same dance, different tune.

The United States Supreme Court acknowledged in Roe v. Wade that the state has a legitimate interest in protecting the potentiality of human life. It is up to the state to implement laws to defend these unborn lives who cannot defend themselves. If not us, who? If not now, when?

Texans support pro-life measures because Texas is a pro-life state. We will do all that we can to protect the lives of the unborn.
