The closer the January 6th committee gets to uncovering the details of who was involved in the insurrection, the more McCarthy and his pals try to invalidate the investigation. They know the committee is close to uncovering the truth about their involvement in the insurrection.

McCarthy has already pledged to seek revenge on companies that comply with the subpoena for phone records of people connected to the insurrection. If Republicans take back the majority, McCarthy will punish these companies for helping us understand the truth about what happened on January 6th.

If McCarthy becomes Speaker of the House and pushes his anti-democracy agenda alongside the rest of the GOP radicals, our democracy will suffer.
