John, attacks on the right to vote and the security of our elections are attacks on our democratic system itself. Our democracy is rooted in the sanctity of voting and the idea that we the people have the right to choose our leaders.
That’s exactly why we must pass the For the People Act right now. We should be making it easier to vote, not harder.
In Congress, I’ll be committed to making it easier for eligible voters to cast their vote -- not keeping folks from the polls. Can you chip in a donation to help my campaign so we can protect our democracy? [[link removed]]
The For the People Act expands access to the ballot by allowing voters to cast their vote by mail in all federal elections and making it easier for voters to request a ballot either via phone or online. By making voting easier and more accessible, more people will make their voices heard; higher participation means better representation, leaders who are responsive to their constituents, and a government that works for us.
If the 2020 Election has demonstrated one thing, it’s that voters must be confident that their vote is secure. The For the People Act will bring our election infrastructure into the 21st century by overhauling our voting systems and implementing safeguards to verify the accuracy of the vote and prevent against both foreign and domestic interference.
Make a donation now to help elect a congressman who will fight to protect free and fair elections. >> [[link removed]]
Expanding access to the ballot by strengthening and securing our election infrastructure is not a partisan issue. That is why I emphatically support the For the People Act and urge you to do the same.
It is long past time we put power back in the hands of voters and make our democracy work for us.
Best,
Donald
