President and Mrs. Bush will visit the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, September 11. President Bush will deliver remarks during the observance ceremony, available on the Flight 93 National Memorial Facebook page beginning at 8:45 a.m. Central Time.

2013: Bob Beckwith Visits the Bush Center
After watching the World Trade Center’s collapse on TV, Bob Beckwith – who had retired from the New York Fire Department seven years before – pulled out his old gear and joined the search efforts. Three days later, he stood next to President Bush at Ground Zero while the president delivered impromptu remarks. Mr. Beckwith became one of the first visitors to the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum in 2013.
