You may have seen an email last week that we are launching the official Trump Ballot Access Task Force.
Let me explain – a new state law signed by Governor Janet Mills now requires Presidential candidates to collect signatures to qualify for the Maine ballot. Our team is working to collect more than 2,000 signatures from Republicans across Maine to officially place President Trump on the ballot.
This is not "sexy" political work – but it is critically important work for our President and our country, that we only have one shot to get right.
I wanted to highlight this for you, because so often the work of the party gets lost in the sensationalized headlines coming out of Washington D.C.
In the coming weeks, our team will continue working to collect signatures with the members of our Task Force. Our office will be distributing and tracking petitions and making sure every "i" is dotted
and every "t" is crossed to put President Trump on the ballot.
It is critical that our team support the volunteers of the Task Force as they complete this official work for President Trump.
