John, Republicans have overturned reproductive rights and gutted voting rights in Texas — now, Lois Frankel is sounding the alarm here in Florida.

She’s leading the fight in Congress to protect a woman’s right to choose and expand your right to vote, but a self-funded Republican has already spent $100,000 of his own money to defeat her in the upcoming midterm elections.

Now that Republicans have effectively banned all abortions in Texas with the U.S. Supreme Court’s blessing, Florida Republicans are planning to ban abortions in our state.

This comes just after Texas followed Florida's lead by passing a new law restricting voting rights — John, we can’t allow Republicans to continue stripping away our rights.

Meanwhile, a self-funded Republican is running against me, and he has already spent $100,000 of his own money to defeat me. Winning reelection against an opponent with unlimited resources will require an unprecedented grassroots effort.

I’m asking if you’ll chip in $10 to help me defeat my GOP opponents in the upcoming midterm elections so I can continue fighting to defend reproductive rights, voting rights, and other fundamental human rights in Congress.

Right now in Congress, I’m fighting to pass legislation to permanently protect reproductive rights and voting rights for every American. Our Democratic majorities in the House and Senate are slim, so every vote matters in these fights.

Governor DeSantis called the Texas abortion ban “interesting,” and recently encouraged the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade, which experts predict could happen soon.

And after watching Florida pass a new law gutting voting rights, the Republican Governor of Texas just signed a new law this week with similar restrictions.
