story this morning about why quality recess experiences are so important for kids. I hope you'll watch it! You'll hear from a school counselor, a parent, and kids at a Playworks school talking about the power of play. 
Play has a vital role in the school day. Since he brought Playworks to the school two years ago, school counselor Sean Finn told correspondent Vicky Nguyen that attendance has gone up, bullying has gone down, and overall school climate has improved. He's watched students like Samet develop their confidence at recess, kids include each other, and more. 
Vicky also provides helpful tips for parents who want to advocate for high-quality recess experiences at their school.
