Right now there are no Black women in the U.S. Senate.
That’s unacceptable to me, and it’s one of the many reasons why I believe so deeply in our historic campaign for Ohio and our movement for working people.
But you want to know what’s even more disappointing?
According to the Center for Responsive Politics, Black women candidates raise on average about HALF of what white candidates raise.
